Collection Introduction
is collection is dedicated to my work photographing England's National Parks with my view camera. It marks a shift in direction from my digital work and a progression in my technical knowledge. It also builds on my early work with 35mm and medium format film cameras. My last project, View Camera Test, served as a test of both equipment and ability for this collection.
My inspiration for this collection came from Ansel Adams’ work on US National Parks using a view camera, as well as my own work on Dartmoor during my Early Photographic Work collection titled Natural Beauty.
The photos were taken on Dan’s Toyo-Field 45CF Kit using Fomapan 400 Film and all the negatives were developed at home with his film development kit using ilfosol 3 developer.
Following that, the photos were then digitised Dan’s DSLR scanning equipment and after this, the images were edited using Negitve Lab Pro and Lightroom Classic.
