Scotland

Project Introduction

Scotland is a country within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which itself is a country. Confused? We all are. Because of this, some might think it has no real identity, but they’d be wrong. This country within a country has a strong national identity and heritage dating back to before the formation of the UK. It’s said that humans have inhabited Scotland since 43 CE, and it didn’t join England until 1707 CE. Over the years, this tiny nation in the North Sea has been a conquered land, a humble land, and a land of great power and fortitude. Scotland, with its beautiful and rugged landscape, amazing cities, great culture, and fabulous driving roads, is a must-see place on most people's travel lists. On this trip, I drive around this great nation to see all that it has to offer.

Photos were taken on a Nikon D800 with a 60mm f/2.8 Macro Nikkor Lens. The original photos were selected, edited and uploaded in October 2024.

Please note that more photos were taken on a film view camera that was processed later and uploaded on the View Camera Test page of DS Multimedia Ventures.
